Smart Sonic Wastewater Evaporators require a small capital investment,

Smart Sonic stencil cleaner wastewater may be treated in the same manner as other aqueous stencil cleaner wastewater i.e. filtration, hauling, etc. However, most users prefer not to use filtration and not discharge anything to drain because of the associated liabilities with drain disposal, the continuous cost of filter changes and because, when using filtration, there is always an effluent left over requiring drain disposal or hauling.
The Smart Sonic Stencil Cleaning Process offers the user an alternative. Because Smart Sonic's 440-R SMT Detergent contains no hazardous ingredients, no VOCs and has been certified environmentally safe, the Smart Sonic wastewater qualifies for routine evaporation and may be evaporated directly to atmosphere in standard wastewater evaporation equipment. When using a wastewater evaporator, there is no liquid hazardous waste for disposal! Nothing is sent to drain! The need for an expensive filtration system is eliminated and there are no filters to continuously buy, change and haul away! Most importantly, the liability associated with drain disposal is completely eliminated! * EPA Super Fund regulations could hold all companies discharging lead-processed wastewater responsible to share in the cleanup of lead contaminated sites within a 50-mile radius. A wastewater evaporator would remove the user from the selection pool because there is "zero discharge" to drain. Consult your local regulation authorities.
